Undrafted Free Agents (UDFA) - The Baseball Cube

An Undrafted Free Agent (UDFA) is a player who signed his first professional contract as a free agent and did not get selected by an MLB organization in the Amteur Entry draft.

Since only Americans and Canadians are eligible for the draft, the lists consist mostly of International players. However, there are also North Americans signed prior to the 1965 draft as well as undrafted North Americans post-1965 who managed to sign with an MLB organization despite not being drafted.
