Major League Perfect Games

+ Baseball Lists
  • Complete listing of Major League Baseball perfect games.
  • A perfect game is defined as at least 9 innings pitched in which no opponent reaches base. That is, every batter that came to the plate was retired. If the first baserunner allowed is in extra innings then the perfect game is 'broken'. A batter reaching base for any reason (walk, hit by pitch, error, catcher's interference) will negate the Perfect Game though it will leave the no-hitter intact.
  • Use the franchise drop-down to view perfect game involvement by franchise. Some historical opponents data is not available.
  • There have been 23 perfect games thrown since 1875.
