Baseball Prospects

+ MLB Top 100 and Team Top 10
  • Prospects information is sourced from Baseball America each spring. Major League Top 100 is captured for all years since 1990 and team top 10s since 1983.
  • A prospect is defined as the possibility of a future event occuring. In the context of baseball, a prospect is a player with a ranked possibility of future success. The higher the prospect ranking, the more it is expected that this player will enjoy Major League Baseball success. The art of ranking a prospect can be debated but ultimately, it is based on educated prediction and lists should be taken with that in mind.
