Was born in San Diego ,California in March 1969. Played baseball at Alameda High School. Attended Fresno State University where he was a Freshman All-American . One of only 2 players to play for Team USA in both fall of 1988 and Summer 1989. Drafted in the 2nd round by Baltimore Orioles, 1990. Playerd parts of 2 MLB Season for Minnesota in 1994 and 1995. Played professionally in the Japanese Major Leagues (NPB) in 1998 and 1999 for Nipponham Fighters, then again for in 2001 and 2002 for the Hiroshima Carp. Is presently the Director of Scouting-USA for the Hiroshima Carp and resides in Alameda,Ca. with his wife, Midori.
