Since making the team as a walk-on his freshman year, Rosenthal has evolved into Yale's best relief pitcher, capturing the closer job at the end of his freshman year. In his sophomore campaign, "The Fireman" posted a team-leading .197 batting average against en route to a 2-2 record with 4 saves. The righthander's plus pitches are a sinking two-seam fastball and a biting curve that he will throw on any count. The 2006 season will see Rosenthal chasing the Yale single-season saves record (8) as the Bulldogs battle for the Ivy League title.

Rosenthal is Yale's all-time saves leader.
