Shairon Martis pitched a 7 inning no-hitter for the Netherlands during 2006 World Baseball Classic. The Netherlands won the game by mercy-rule 10-0 and Martis threw his 65th pitch to the last batter he faced, which allowed him to continue pitching. The first round of the WBC had a 65 pitch limit.
