 Trivia and Player Notes

Harrelson was from Oklahoma and part Indian as mentioned often by Los Angeles area sportswriters while pitching for the Angels. When he got his call-up to the Majors he was a member of an artillery unit with the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve in Bakersfield, Calif., where he later tended bar at his dad's Kon-Tiki Club lounge.
