Research Applications

MORE
The PLAY EVENT research app lets you search through retrosheet's event history. TBC has detailed event logs since 1957 up to the most recent retrosheet season. Data is updated a month or two after the season completes. The database include both Regular Season and Playoff games. A baseball event is considered to be any pitch-level event that results in a change of game state. This can be the end of a plate appearance or a change in base stats during an at bat such as a wild ptich, stolen base or balk.
