» TBC Panel

The TBC Panel is a 300-person panel that will help to shape the future of The Baseball Cube. Consisting of fans of the site, the panel will allow for panel members to contribute towards future decisions on site layout and content by answering questions emailed to them periodically by TBC. The goal is to get a better understanding of what power users of the site would like to see and the 300 person panel will help us to understand visitor needs and wants a little bit better.

Requesting membership to the panel will not be a major commitment. Once in a while you'll receive an email with a question or maybe we'll ask you to rank a predetermined list of items. In either case, it will be very little time on your part and you'll be helping to shape our future.

Requirements:  It would be preferable if applicants are frequent visitors to the site and have knowledge of many different areas of the site. An ability to put thoughts into words and to consistenly contribute would be great appreciated as well. You should also have a strong knowledge of baseball statistics. This is not a job posting as there is no pay for participation on this panel. However, being a frequent visitor to the site, you should know that your opinion and input will make a difference for your site expereince.

The first 300 applicants will be automatically accepted. However, those who do not answer emails at least 50% of the time will be dropped from the panel at which point we'll intermittantly try to fill the empty spaces. There's no timetable on how often panelists will be contacted but it will be infrequent enough to not be a burden on your time and it will not require you to write paragraphs in response.
