Other Stats
For the purpose of The Baseball Cube, "Other Statistics" refers to non-regular season or non-standard leagues. The regular season batting/pitching grids are used for MLB,Minor League,Independent,Japanese and College Leagues. The Other Stats are listed in a separate grid to keep the regular season grid clean.
Other stats is an aggregate category of various league types including MLB Playoffs, College Summer Leagues, Arizona Fall League, All-Star Game results, Australian League, MLB Spring Training and Korea. All of these leagues will include Batting/Pitching statistics but may not contain all standard statistical columns based on availability at source. The years available for each league is variable depending on the dataset. Not all players in these datasets will be linked to a TBC Player Profile. See the Inclusion Rules to see who gets an ID.
