A baseball job can be defined as a role within the baseball operations department of a team. Typically, we track Major League General Managers, front office positions, field level roles such as Managers and Coaches as well as organizational roles like coordinators and minor league managers and coaches. For College, we track coaching staffs for Division I schools.

The data is entered on a yearly basis and player profiles are created for those who are new as coaches for MLB, Minors, Indy Ball or Div I College. That is, we don't create player profile pages for coaches of other College divisions.

Jobs are listed on team pages as well as on player pages in the form of an unofficial resume of baseball-related positions.

Its important to note that there could be holes in job history for a player and that this is a collection of data and not an official source. TBC tries to collect data through various sources and research publications to present to you the most complete dataset possible but it needs to be understood that we cannot necessarily complete every dataset.
