Japanese Leagues

The Nippon Professional baseball league is the premiere baseball league in Japan and is divided into 2 divisions. The Central and Pacific leagues. Each league has 6 teams. The season ends with the Japan Series which is the NPB version of the World Series.

Though teams are rostered mostly by Japanese-born players, there is a limit of 4 non-Japanese-born players on a team. This includes Americans and all other international players. The quality of the leagues are said to be similar to AAA in North America.

TBC has captured full NPB statistics since 2007 with batting and pitching statistics, rosters and standings. The Data is stored in the International Leagues section.
