What data is available?
All the data you see on the site is available.Major League Baseball data is available from career statistics right down to pitch-level. Minor League data ranges from 1977 to present with Batting, Pitching and Fielding stats by season while College data has full Division I stats since 2002. Full draft history and MLB-related player movement is also available. As a general rule though, if the data is on the site, it can be provided.

In what format is the pre-compiled data?
By default, the data comes as a CSV (Comma-Separated-Values) which is importable into Excel or Access or most any other database system. If you have a specific request for output, let us know

How do I pay?
via Paypal in US Dollars. For pre-compiled products, click on the price to view a link to paypal. For custom requests, you will receive payment instructions.

How long until I get the data?
Data will be sent via email (attachment or link) within 48 hours of payment for custom requests and within a few hours for pre-compiled data products. Data projects that require heavy processing or extreme custom programming might take longer than 48 hours and will be worked out ahead of time.

Is this official data?
No. The data is collected from official sources but compiled and re-organized into a separate database.

How long until I get the data?

Who orders data from TBC?
The spectrum ranges from MLB front office employees to scouts to agents to college students doing their thesis. The breadth of customers is fascinating!

What if I want a discount on quantity?
If you are buying more than 1 pre-compiled data product, we can work out a lower price. I am fair.

How is the cost calculated?
An unofficial algorithm that considers quantity of data, rarity of data, processing time, effort, extra programming required and your frequency of purchase. Most data projects come out somewhere between $10-$100.

Do you offer data feeds?
You can check out the Player Tracker to see our daily customized stats feed but if you had something else in mind for periodical data feeds to suit your baseball data needs, feel free to contact us via the Custom Request Form above. We have the data and the programming expertise to provide what you need. The only barrier might be scalability.
