The Baseball Cube was created in 2002 by me, Gary Cohen. I was born with an uncontrollable urge to keep track of statistics for everything and TBC is the medium I use to satisfy this irrational urge.

I've created TBC to be the ultimate baseball web site for statistics, player information and essentially as much data as I could find on the sport. Though my wife helps me with administrative tasks, the data, design and content is handled by one person so please keep this in mind when contacting me. This isn't even my full-time job.

The main benefits to this site are that we have player pages for all NCAA, Minor League, Independent and Major League Players and we have the ability to track a player's career though all of these leagues. Most other sites show only Major League numbers and if they have Minor league data, its separate. TBC combines everything into one stat set so you can see a player's career evolution.

The philosophy is to think big and then execute. There are always new datasets being researched and the site is updated regularly. Though I update stats daily throughout the season, our value is rooted in the history available on the site.

I believe TBC is a valuable resource for Fantasy Baseball players, baseball professionals (scouts, GMs), die-hard fans and a type of facebook for former players who want to know where their teammates ended up.
2009 Data Products are now available. Includes the TBC Stats Register, Minor League Stats, College Data and the Draft Register. Custom datasets available as well.
