Its not easy to sum up a player's career in 1 sentence but that's what we're trying to do with the best known for box below each player's baseball card image. The goal of this feature is to determine what most people think of when they think of a particular player. For example, Cal Ripken has the streak, Tim Wakefield has the knuckleball and John Olerud has his fielding helmet.

This is essentially an executive summary on the player. We also realize that not all players are famous and that most players on the Cube are likely not known to even the die-hard fan but that doesn't mean we don't want to include a summary for these players.

Here are some samples currently in our database:

Jim Abbott - Threw No-Hitter with only 1 hand

Though we'll try to keep the summaries positive, there are occasions where a player is simply world reknowned for something negative and TBC reserves the right to exclude inappropirate or false summaries.
